Another day, another Snapchat update. But this week Snapchat have come out with a jazzy new update which lets users create custom stories with their friends, making a communal story based on a location or shared event.
When making the custom story you can add your friends as contributors, so when they create a new snap, they have the option to add it to your communal story. In addition to making the story, you can also set a 'geofence' which means the story is set to a specific location, so you will only have the option to see the story if you're in that specific place.
The new update is a great idea for birthday parties, family gathering or baby showers so that only the family or friends can see it. The stories will disappear if no-one contributes to them for 24 hours much like normal Snapchat Stories. This new feature is available now on the newest update for
