Different hero images

If an email design has a hero image at the top, the developer will generally need two versions of that hero image.

Even if they don’t have a full design for the mobile email, just a 1200px wide version of the hero image is usually needed. This will be shown at sizes 599px and smaller, and so the design needs to suit content being shown at a small size, even though the artwork itself is quite big (to suit those on retina displays).
